Please review our reservation policies, cancellation terms, house rules, and condominium guidelines before completing your reservation.

Reservation Policy

Reservation Confirmation

A reservation is considered confirmed only after full payment or the required deposit has been successfully processed, the reservation has been accepted by Azure Sky Retreat, and the guest has accepted the Reservation Terms, House Rules, Building Regulations, and Privacy Policy.

Check-In & Check-Out

Check-In: 4:00 PM

Check-Out: 11:00 AM

Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may require an additional fee.

Reservation Changes

One complimentary change of travel dates is permitted provided that availability exists, the request is received at least fourteen (14) days before arrival, and the new reservation is completed within twelve (12) months of the original arrival date.

Rate differences may apply. Additional date changes may incur administrative fees.

Cancellation Policy

Azure Sky Retreat uses a moderate cancellation policy designed to provide flexibility to guests while protecting confirmed reservation dates.

No-Show Policy

Failure to arrive on the scheduled check-in date without prior written notification will be considered a No Show. No refund will be issued.

Early Departure

Guests who voluntarily depart before the scheduled check-out date are not entitled to a refund for unused nights.

Hurricane & Severe Weather Policy

Because Azure Sky Retreat is located in Puerto Rico, weather conditions can occasionally affect travel.

If the National Hurricane Center issues an official Hurricane Warning for the Luquillo, Puerto Rico area within 48 hours prior to the scheduled arrival, guests may choose one complimentary date change within twelve (12) months, subject to availability, or a full refund of prepaid unused nights if a mandatory evacuation order is issued by Puerto Rico or local government authorities.

Normal tropical rain, scattered showers, cloudy weather, tropical depressions, tropical storms without official evacuation orders, airline schedule changes, or personal travel concerns do not qualify for refunds under this policy.

Travel Insurance

Guests are strongly encouraged to purchase comprehensive travel insurance to protect against trip cancellation, medical emergencies, flight delays, lost baggage, severe weather, family emergencies, and other unforeseen travel interruptions.

House Rules

Maximum Occupancy

The apartment accommodates a maximum of four (4) registered guests. Only registered guests may stay overnight.

Smoking, Pets & Parties

  • No smoking inside the apartment, balcony, lobby, elevators, or common areas.
  • No pets allowed unless expressly authorized in writing.
  • No parties, gatherings, meetings, or events are permitted.

Quiet Hours

Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please keep music, television, and voices at a reasonable level.

Balcony & Child Safety

Children must be supervised at all times, especially on or near the balcony. Guests are responsible for supervising minors and ensuring their safety.

Kitchen & Appliances

Please use all appliances with care. Do not leave cooking unattended. Clean dishes and counters after use and dispose of trash properly.

Damage Responsibility

Guests are financially responsible for damages beyond normal wear and tear. Please report accidental damage immediately.

Playa Azul Condominium Rules

Building Access

Guests must follow all Playa Azul condominium rules and security instructions. Visitors may be required to check in with security.

Parking

One vehicle is allowed per apartment. The parking lot is open parking with no assigned parking number. Guests may park in any available space.

Beach, Pool & Recreation Hours

Beach access gate: 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM.

Pool, tennis, and basketball areas: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM.

Trash Disposal

Please dispose of garbage across from the main building lobby in the designated recycling and regular trash areas.

Security & Cameras

The building is monitored by security and cameras. Guests must comply with all condominium security procedures.

Terms & Conditions

Security Deposit

Azure Sky Retreat does not require a traditional security deposit. However, by confirming a reservation, guests authorize Azure Sky Retreat to recover reasonable repair or replacement costs resulting from damage caused during their stay beyond normal wear and tear.

Force Majeure

Azure Sky Retreat shall not be liable for interruptions, delays, cancellations, or changes caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including hurricanes, tropical storms, earthquakes, flooding, power outages, water service interruptions, internet service outages, government actions, building maintenance, public emergencies, or acts of God.

Limitation of Liability

Azure Sky Retreat shall not be liable for lost, stolen, or forgotten personal belongings, injuries resulting from guest negligence, misuse of apartment equipment or condominium amenities, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Reservation Terms & Cancellation Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Any dispute, claim, or legal proceeding arising out of or relating to a reservation, stay, payment, cancellation, or use of Azure Sky Retreat shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.

Guest Agreement

By completing a reservation and submitting payment, guests confirm that they have read, understood, and accepted:

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between the guest and Azure Sky Retreat.
